Our treatment philosophy combines several different approaches to treatment. Each program applicant participates in an initial intake assessment. Group sessions combine skill building with cognitive-behavioral and supportive counseling appropriates. Youth will gain support, learn relapse prevention tools, and learn about chemical addiction and the role it plays in their lives.
We also provide education and support for all family members who have been affected by the addiction. Significant family members meet separately and with the chemically involved youth on Family Night once per week. Significant family members are defined as parents, siblings and/or other significant guardians in the teen's life.
All participants are expected to be respectful towards others and actively participate in the program. There will be consequences for inappropriate behavior that will provide the client with an opportunity to learn from her/his mistakes if they violate a rule.

Counseling Options
A counselor meets with a teen and his/her family to determine the nature and degree of the program. A plan then will be developed that meets the needs of each family. The plan may include Family Counseling, Individual Counseling, or Group Counseling.
Family Counseling is to rebuild damaged relationships between family members. It educates the family about problems caused by alcohol abuse, helps families establish clear rules and consequences regarding adolescent behavior, and supports adolescents to find ways to live a healthier life without alcohol or drugs.
Individual Counseling provides a safe, confidential place for the teen to establish a trusting relationship with an adult. It helps the youth identify and clarify his/her own goals and how to achieve them. It also helps by helping the youth discover ways to get along with his/her family.
Group Counseling provides a place where teens can meet with people of their age who will support each other in the process of leading healthier, more productive drug-free lives.
