About Elizabeth
Elizabeth is a northern Midwesterner who moved to California to attend Internal Medicine residency at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Her work at the county hospital (San Francisco General) reinforced her interest in creating novel social pathways to healing. She went on to complete an Addiction Medicine fellowship at UCSF and has led teams in managing opioid and alcohol dependence for marginalized populations. She is firmly committed to providing quality care to her primary care panel in the Tenderloin of San Francisco, working to humanize their experiences and enhance their quality of life.
She is a passionate advocate for primary care access for vulnerable populations, reduced stigma for people who use drugs, and housing for all. When not at work, she enjoys planning adventures and swimming alongside her little family.
